Technically Guardian is a sub strain of the Steinernamaticae family. It is a beneficial entomogenous nematode. Guardian actively searches for insects, insect pupa and insect larve in places that are moist. Biologically kills over 250 varieties of insect larvae in the plant root zone. They locate and enter a host, killing it and reproduce within it, and the offspring will exit in search of more host insects, therefore repeating the cycle. Apply in the evening directly on the soil. Guardian can be stored temporarily in a refrigerator at 40-50 degrees. Mix the package with a gallon of water to create a gallon of concentrate then spray them with a hose end sprayer, pressure sprayer, watering can or pail. They can withstand pressures up to 300 psi.
